The Multicultural General Welfare Center, which multicultural families manage directly, received certification as a corporation on July 5, 2010 and received the status of a national corporation in 2012. We deeply appreciate the sponsors and supporting organizations, who through their interest and participation, have made it possible for us to do various activities for multicultural families.

The purpose of establishment
To help members of multicultural families, which are increasing in number in Korea, to enjoy happy lives as healthy people and to be able to overcome cultural and social differences and quickly achieve stability with the help of supportive counseling, education, welfare, and volunteer work also conducted by multicultural family members.
counseling aspect
In the counseling aspect of our work, we provide counselors for the person in their native language, to help solve the most fundamental problems, husband–wife conflicts, family conflicts, and maladjustment to Korean society made more difficult by language and cultural differences. We provide professional counseling for the Korean spouse and help for the couple together to solve problems that occur in families.
educational aspect
In the educational aspect, we provide education programs for the children to gain self-confidence as multicultural family members in this global era and to establish self-identity properly. We provide specialized suitable education for the family, such as couple’s education and children’s education to establish healthy family relationships. For those who are interested, we provide a training course to become counselors specializing in helping multicultural families.
support aspect
In the support aspect of our work, we help multicultural family members become independent by strengthening their capabilities and improving their quality of life and helping them find stability within Korean society by providing integrated welfare services.
volunteer aspect
The volunteer aspect refers to providing direct service to people or communities in need without asking for anything in return.
